TECPDS accounts are available at no cost for early childhood professionals, including practitioners, administrators, specialists, and trainers.
For the purposes of record verification, professional development, education, and work experience entered into TECPDS may be viewed by TECPDS staff, Texas Rising Star staff, and external users employed by the 28 Texas local workforce development boards and Child Care Regulation. All information entered through the tool is stored securely in our database, and may only be viewed by approved individuals. Learn how your data is accessed on TECPDS.
Reminder: each user MUST have their own account. Do not share your username and password with anyone else. Users must be 16 years of age or older.

Heads up! Everyone should only have one account on TECPDS. If any of the following scenarios sound familiar to you, contact our support team:
- You already have a TECPDS account, or think you might have had an account in the past
- You used TECPDS at a previous job but aren’t sure how to login
- Someone created an account for you but you aren’t sure how to login
