Follow the steps below to login to the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System’s Texas Workforce Registry. Available at no cost for all Texas early childhood practitioners and administrators, the Texas Workforce Registry offers an online career profile for early childhood professionals to track their work experience, professional development, and education/credentials. The website also provides resources to support further career advancement.
If you already have an account on TECPDS, we recommend that you use the same Google account information to login to the Texas Workforce Registry. Your professional development certificates earned on TECPDS will be automatically transferred to your Texas Workforce Registry account if you use the same Google account information.
Select “Texas Workforce Registry” in the top navigation. Or, go directly here: About the Texas Workforce Registry
Watch the short orientation video for the Texas Workforce Registry. You can also download a PDF of the orientation video script.
After watching the video, scroll down and click the button to begin the quick registration process.
On the next screen, enter your Google account information and click “Next.” If you already have an account on CLI Engage, be sure to enter the same Google account information to create your Texas Workforce Registry account.
Complete the required information on the registration screen. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Be sure to select the type of account: Practitioner or Center Director. If you are the director/administrator of an early childhood program, we recommend you create a Center Director account. All others will most likely select Practitioner.
When complete, select “SUBMIT FOR FREE ACCOUNT” to complete the registration process.
Now your account is created! You will be taken to your Texas Workforce Registry dashboard. From this screen, you can add your work experience, professional development, and education/credentials to complete your career profile.
Also, use the Find My Career Lattice tool to identify your current career lattice level and locate resources to advance further in your early childhood career!
