All users on TECPDS must have a unique email address and a Google Account to log in. The platform uses Google authentication for usernames and passwords, which are not stored in TECPDS. Users must use the same Google Account to login to TECPDS each time. You DO NOT need a Gmail.
Step 1: If you do not have a Google Account, you can create one at the following link https://accounts.google.com/signup, using your existing email account, or by creating a new Gmail account. For best results, please use Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop.
Step 2: To set up a new Google Account with your current email address (i.e., jon.doe@anyISD.net), click “Use my current email address instead”. Verify your email address with a code sent to you. For added security, you can add your phone number, birthdate, and gender. If you provide a phone number, you will receive a text message for verification, which can help you recover your account if you forget your password.
Step 3: Should you choose to “Opt-in” to Google services, choose “Yes, I’m in.” Otherwise, choose “Skip.”
Step 4: Finally, read and agree to the Terms of Service document by scrolling down and clicking OK at the end.
