This guide is designed to help you access and complete your Trainer Micro-credential Knowledge Exam. Successfully completing this exam, should advance you to Level 2 in your Trainer Pathway. The exam consists of 10 multiple–choice questions focused on Adult Learning Theory. It may take you 30-45 minutes to complete it. To better prepare for this exam, we recommend exploring the free and paid training options available on our Trainer Resources page or through your “Registered Trainer Resources” tile.
Step 1: Navigate to your “Trainer Progress Level” tile, scroll down to the ‘Artifacts’ section and click on the “Knowledge Exam” link.
Step 2: You will be redirected to the CLI Engage website. Click the “Continue” blue button.
Step 3: On the next screen, click “Go to program” above your Submission Guideline 1 & 2 courses.
Step 4: Find the Micro-credentials Demographics Survey and click “Enroll”. You will answer a few brief questions about yourself.
Step 5: Next, click “Enroll” to review the Introduction for CLI Micro-credentialing presentation. Once done, refresh your page to allow you access to the trainer exams.
Step 6: Finally, click “Enroll” next to Trainer Exams, then select the icon for the Knowledge Exam.
Step 7: Click “Attempt quiz” to begin. You will have three attempts to pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher. The exam is automatically scored, and you should receive your micro-credentials and achieve Level 2 Trainer status the next day.
Step 8: If you do not pass this exam, we will gladly reset it for you. But first, we recommend you check out some of the trainings listed above to help you better prepare for this exam.
