For the purposes of record verification, professional development, education, and work experience entered into TECPDS may be viewed by TECPDS staff, Texas Rising Star staff, and Child Care Regulation staff. All information entered into TECPDS is stored securely in our database, and may only be viewed by approved individuals.
Connecting to your school, center, or workplace is an important step on TECPDS, required for some users like Texas Rising Star-certified providers. Known as “center connection” on TECPDS, each person can identify what, if any, information can be accessed by center directors/school leaders as a result of this connection.
