The Individual Professional Development Report is a summary of all the information that an early childhood professional has uploaded into their personal TECPDS accounts. The report is a history of an early childhood professional’s early childhood career. The report includes:
Center Directors have the ability to upload to add records for any staff who have connected to their center on TECPDS. A Center Director may only add records, they cannot delete or edit records for training/workshops or education pages. They cannot edit the employment or contact screen.
For TRS providers, this report will be used to score Category 1 of the TRS Assessment, Director and Staff Qualifications and Training.
Login to TECPDS and locate the Individual Professional Development Report buttons. Click the “Individual Professional Development Report” button to view and download your own report.
Scroll down to your “Center Director Account Summary” and locate the “Staff Professional Development Report” button. Only Center Directors have access to this button.
Under “Manage Practitioners,” see a listing of all the practitioners who’ve connected to your center. If they have granted permission to you to upload records on their behalf, you can use the “Action” buttons to add new education, credential, or professional development/training records.
After clicking the “Staff Professional Development Report” button, you can select for all of the staff or select only those you wish to see by checking the names. Remember that only staff who have connected to your center on TECPDS will be shown in this list.
Click the “View Records Report” for the selected staff.
Then, you can view the professional development profile reports online, or download and save copies of the reports. Click the button to receive the reports via email.
The first section of the report shows a visual display of all of the professional development entered, with the top section displaying the last 365 days and the bottom section showing total career professional development achievements. Based on the information entered into the person’s account, you can see gaps in professional development and where they fall on the early childhood career pathway.
