From your center director dashboard on TECPDS, center directors can access a QR feature for practitioners to opt-in to create a new TECPDS account. Once approved by the center director, the account will be automatically connected to you and your affiliated program/school.
Log into your center director dashboard on TECPDS and select “My Center Profile.”
On the next screen, select the QR icon.
The next step is to use the QR code or link for practitioners to request a new TECPDS account associated with this program/school. If the practitioner already has a TECPDS account, they will follow the steps in the How-to Guide for connecting to their center.
How Practitioners Connect to Their Center
The practitioner will fill out and submit their information requesting to create a TECPDS account associated with this program/school. Once the practitioner submits their information, they will notify the center director that it is ready for approval. If authorized, the center director will have the ability to enter records into practitioner accounts.
From your center director dashboard, select the “Practitioners Verification” button.
On this screen, the practitioners who submitted a request to opt-in to create a TECPDS account are listed. The center director will verify the practitioner’s account status by clicking the green verification icon in the “Action” column.
Once verified, the center director can select to send an invitation to the practitioner to complete their account set-up or deny the request (if the center director does not recognize the person.)
Next, the practitioner will receive an email message inviting them to complete their registration for a new TECPDS account. *If the Practitioner already has a TECPDS account, they will receive a warning message. If this warning message appears, it means they already have an account, and a help ticket has been sent to TECPDS staff to resolve this issue.
Once the practitioner completes their account set-up, they will be automatically connected to the center director and affiliated program/school.
