A TECPDS account can help you keep track of your professional development through creating and updating your professional development profile, view your professional development report, and link to your center/facility of employment.

Find My Career Pathway Tool: Learn how to advance your career pathway using the “Find My Career Pathway” tool. Available to all TECPDS users, early childhood professionals can enter information about their education, training, and work experience to learn their career pathway level using this tool.
Texas ECE Career Pathway: The career pathway defines early childhood professionals’ knowledge and skill mastery levels and identifies steps for advancing their careers.

Certificate Generation Tool: Create standardized certificates and sign-in sheets that include all state-required information for early childhood trainings in Texas. The Certificate Generation Tool provides opportunities for all trainers to create certificates that meet all state requirements for their training participants. Available to all TECPDS account holders, use this tool to upload certificates directly into the TECPDS accounts of training attendees (if they provided their personal account number). Use the Certificate Generation Tool to create certificates for your face-to-face and online trainings, as well as coaching and mentoring! CLI Engage hosts many online professional development courses for early childhood teachers, administrators, coaches, and parents. After completing an online course on CLI Engage, users can receive a certificate certifying their completion for either Continuing Professional Education hours (CPEs) or Child Care Licensing clock hours. If users also have an account on the Texas Workforce Registry, certificates automatically transfer to their personal TECPDS account.
